New 1,500+ client testing capability enables validation of industrial, enterprise, and public Wi-Fi use cases by emulating real-world client concurrency at scale in the lab.
BANGALORE, India – August 20, 2025 – Alethea Communications Technologies, a leader in the wireless test and measurement industry, today announced that its universal Wi-Fi test solution, WiCheck, now supports emulating over 1,500+ concurrent Wi‑Fi 7 clients.
As Wi-Fi 7 adoption accelerates, service providers and OEMs are preparing for high-density deployments. Environments with thousands of active users require Access Points that deliver consistent performance, even under congestion and interference. WiCheck’s new high-density emulation enables customers to mature/validate these access points by offering fully automated, reproducible testing across the 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz bands.
“High-density client testing is vital to optimizing Wi‑Fi 7 performance, and we’re excited to collaborate with Alethea’s WiCheck to perfect this capability,” said Venu Pragada, VP of Engineering at Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
WiCheck emulates realistic usage profiles such as video streaming, voice calls, and background traffic, enabling performance optimization under load. It empowers customers to validate real-world user experience in a controlled lab environment that mirrors large-scale Wi-Fi 7 deployment conditions.
“Testing of Wi‑Fi 7 access points is moving beyond basic functional and feature assurance, with the focus now shifting to real-world scale, performance and stability, ”said Ramakrishna, VP Products at Alethea Communications Technologies. “We’re excited to help the broadband industry perfect high-density Wi‑Fi 7 in the lab prior to deployment.”
