BANGALORE, India – July 30, 2025 – Alethea Communications Technologies, a leader in the wireless test and measurement industry, today announced support for the latest TR-398 Issue-4 draft in its universal Wi-Fi test solution, WiCheck. The update delivers a fully automated, standards-aligned solution for validating the performance and reliability of Wi-Fi 7 access points. The Broadband Forum is anticipated to complete and publish the TR-398 Issue 4 test plan later this year.
As global adoption of Wi-Fi 7 gains momentum, service providers, OEMs, and test labs need rigorous and scalable validation tools that deliver reproducible benchmarking results for the latest access points. TR-398 Issue 4 defines enhanced test cases to evaluate advanced features of Wi-Fi 7. WiCheck now fulfills this new standard, delivering the automation, scalability, and diagnostics required to enable clear, data-driven decisions.
